Railway bridge at the junction of Spen View Lane, Greenfield Lane and Boy Lane. Sounds like a major junction but it is anything but. You can see the road works still in progress. The last train to run underneath the bridge was in 1916, it was part of the old Great Northern Railway.

View from Greenfield Lane, Mill Carr Hill Road is the same road and if
I had continued to walk backwards, I would have been on it. No one living knows exactly where the boundary is.

View of Boy Lane from the railway bridge. Bierley Lane is at the far end, past the lorry and to the right, if you have a map. There is a new mini-roundabout there now.
